JPMorgan Chase is a leading financial services firm that is seeking a Senior Associate for their Consumer & Community Bank Corporate Development team focused on crypto, blockchain, and digital assets. This role involves supporting the strategy, partnerships, and corporate development functions related to the emerging crypto ecosystem, with responsibilities including developing partnership strategies, negotiating deals, and executing business opportunities. Responsibilities • Develop partnership strategy with the lines of business, including identifying key elements of the strategy, completing analysis, and making recommendation • Work cross-functionally within Chase and JPMC and with external partners to identify, negotiate, and execute key partnerships and acquisitions that drive business results and support the business strategy • Develop and help deliver specific partner proposals with the lines of business, including overall vision, partnership economics, and product integration • Work in conjunction with finance, legal and other functional partners to develop financial business case, deal constructs and other key terms associated with partnership • Monitor external environment for important competitive developments and potential partnership opportunities and communicate more broadly to key line of business partners as necessary • Ensure all deals and business development is executed in accordance with policies, controls, key functional partners, and Corporate Development procedures Skills • Bachelor's degree • 4+ years of experience in the crypto / blockchain / digital assets ecosystem with a focus on financial services • 4+ years of partnership, strategic alliance, or deal execution experience • Experience formulating business strategy, including structuring problems, completing analysis, and making recommendations • Project management experience in a cross-functional environment • Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new or ambiguous situations without significant assistance • Deep analytical skills, including understanding of common financial statements and ability to build financial models in Excel • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate to senior internal and external stakeholders • Sense of urgency with disposition to execute and a demonstrated career of successful partnership and/or deal execution • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Crypto / blockchain / digital assets experience in financial services • Financial services/banking experience Benefits • Comprehensive health care coverage • On-site health and wellness centers • A retirement savings plan • Backup childcare • Tuition reimbursement • Mental health support • Financial coaching Company Overview • With a history tracing its roots to 1799 in New York City, JPMorganChase is one of the world's oldest, largest, and best-known financial institutions—carrying forth the innovative spirit of our heritage firms in global operations across 100 markets.
