Commercial Loan Risk Officer

We arrange and fund commercial mortgages from $1,000,000 to $25,000,000 on behalf of Canadian Banks, Credit Unions, Pension Funds, and other financial institutions. In addition, Domain Funding has exclusive access to over $200 Million of privately managed mortgage funds. We finance every category of commercial real estate including apartment blocks, condominium projects, shopping centres, office buildings, industrial parks, development land, hotels and residential subdivisions and we are recognized for our reliable, fast, and flexible commercial financing. Domain Funding currently has a full–time salaried position available for Commercial Loan Risk Officer. This is a key position with our firm which will report to both the VP of Risk + the Chief Credit Officer. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in the Commercial Banking, Mortgage, or Finance industry in BC and/or AB. You will be trained in our specific commercial loan risk policies and procedures. Although desirable, post-secondary education is not required. The work environment at Domain Funding is intense, fast-paced, and high-energy. This is a full-time position available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM (with a 1 hour lunch break). Our office is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver close to all major bus and SkyTrain routes. The successful candidate for this position will have: • at least two (2) years of work experience in the Commercial Banking, Mortgage, or Finance industry in BC/AB • a good understanding and working knowledge of Office 365 software and cloud services • the ability to work independently and be self-motivated • strong organizational skills and the ability to “multi-task” effectively • excellent time management capability • a dependable and highly ethical character • a professional appearance • be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident NOTE: PLease do not apply for the position if you are not curently a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000, depending on experience.
