Being part of the team at the core of Sherweb’s strategy, you will be delivering API integrations of products we resell as well as contributing to automate delivery of new technologies to support own developed products. You will have the opportunity to help shape how we will achieve our ambitions and will be closely involved with multiple teams in the Software Development and Engineering, Products and Operations departments. All of this done through our proprietary middleware platform “Sherweb Scalable Cloud Orchestrator” (SSCO).
• *Here's what your day-to-day will look like in this role**
- Implement integration of 3rd party software vendors into our transactional platform through a defined contract, meeting technical requirements defined within the team, and meeting business requirements defined by the Product team.
- Develop integration tests to ensure proper implementation of integrations, as continuously ensuring proper functioning of our development as we’re continuously integrating and deploying updates and new functionalities.
- Participate in code reviews if needed.
- Detect potential improvements within our middleware platform and submit feature requests to implement them.
- Troubleshoot issues submitted through bug requests, test fixes, release them to staging and production.
- Depending on your squad and abilities, you may tasked to create user interfaces to extend capabilities of our transactional platform, or create internal administrative interfaces through low/no-code tools.
• *Here's what you need to have and master to get the job.**
Experience and abilities in the following is a must
- .NET/C# development
- Powershell.
- Significant knowledge in at least 1 other mainstream programming language
- Working with Github, Azure Durable Functions, Azure CosmosDB
- CI/CD and Automation mindset
- Create services that are leveraging multiple 3rd party APIs
- Creating integration tests
Knowledge of the following is an asset:
- Single Page Application development skills (React, Blazor)
- HTML/CSS
- Terraform
- Ansible
- Datadog
- Rest APIs, message queues
- Relational and noSQL databases such as Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB
- Understanding of infrastructure and networking
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes as well as it’s tooling (Helm, ArgoCD)
- Bilingualism (English/French)
