Position: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Multi-Cloud (Azure & AWS) Payrate $78-85.00/hr w-2, depending on experience. C2C Available. Benefits Health, Dental & Vision Insurance is available. Duration 1-year w/ possibility for extension Interview Process Initial interview will be conducted via MS Teams (virtual). 2nd interview - must be available to attend a face‑to‑face interview at the Houston Corporate office downtown. Position Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Multi‑Cloud (Azure & AWS) Key Responsibilities • Assist in supporting highly available, fault‑tolerant multi‑cloud solutions • Assist in developing technical documentation, architectural blueprints, and best practices • Evaluate and recommend cloud services and emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure efficiency • Automate provisioning, scaling, and resource lifecycle management with Terraform and Ansible • Collaborate with Business and application support troubleshooting AWS / Azure issues • Work with Security and Compliance teams to design and enforce cloud security architectures, governance frameworks, and compliance controls • Work with Security and Compliance teams to implement identity management, encryption, access control, and regulatory compliance measures • Work with Network and Security teams to design hybrid network architectures including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, and direct connect solutions • Develop and document load balancing, DNS, and traffic routing strategies to optimize performance • Work with Operations and Security teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network connectivity, latency, and security configurations • Provide technical mentorship and collaborate with Infrastructure, Operations, and Security teams • Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision‑making processes • Present solutions, recommendations, and technical strategies to leadership and stakeholders • Stay ahead of cloud innovations, security trends, and industry advancements Top Daily Priorities/Responsibilities • Support Dev Ops and Developers with deployment issues • Develop automation to enable dev teams to consume cloud environment more efficiently • Review cloud environments for policy violations and remediate issues found using security tools Must Haves • Infrastructure engineering & cloud architecture support • Hands‑on experience with both Azure & AWS infrastructure • Expert‑level Terraform development for multi‑cloud automation (80% AWS / 20% Azure) Nice to Haves • Cloud‑native monitoring tools (e.g., AWS Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor) • Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles Qualifications (Required) • 5+ years in infrastructure engineering & cloud architecture experience • 5+ years hands‑on experience with Azure & AWS infrastructure • 2+ years of expert‑level Terraform development for multi‑cloud automation • 2+ years of hands‑on coding exp to deploy resources using IaC Terraform / Cloud Formation • AWS/Azure CLI, Python, Power Shell, or Bash scripting • Azure Virtual Networks, Resource Manager, Active Directory, and Key Vault • AWS Transit Gateway, Route tables, Gateway Load Balancers, VPC, IAM, Lambda experience • Deploying and managing Landing Zone, Control Tower, Guard rails etc. • Hybrid (AWS/Azure) cloud connectivity, network security, and optimization experience Qualifications (Preferred) • Docker, EKS / AKS and container orchestration technologies • Cloud‑native monitoring tools (AWS Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor) • Cloud security principles (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001) • Hands‑on experience with compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI‑DSS, HIPAA) • Proficiency in security scanning, vulnerability management, and incident response • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including error budgets and SLOs • Strong system administration, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Equal Opportunity Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
