Responsibilities
• Design and own AWS-based cloud architectures, including compute, storage, networking, security, and middleware.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-availability solutions using microservices, serverless, and container technologies.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including legacy system refactoring and on-prem/cloud-to-AWS migrations.
• Define and standardize cloud platform capabilities, including multi-account landing zones, IAM, logging/monitoring, and IaC practices.
• Ensure architectures meet security, compliance, reliability, and cost optimization standards (DR, encryption, autoscaling, cost control).
• Act as a technical leader, mentoring teams and driving architectural best practices across projects.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, system design, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, VPC, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Proven experience designing large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms.
• Solid knowledge of microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of high availability, security, networking, and cost optimization.
• Experience leading technical decisions or mentoring engineers is a plus.
