Job Opportunity
The Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Specialist Leader oversees the team of deep domain specialists across AWS Products and Services in South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria. This team works with local sales and solution architect teams to accelerate adoption of AWS cloud across services, solutions, workloads, and offerings.
• Lead the team to manage Specialists, grow talent, and coach them to meet/exceed goals.
• Interact with C-level executives to develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
• Develop and implement comprehensive account/territory plans supporting multiple account teams to drive revenue and win goals.
• Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and successful go-to-market strategies.
• Drive revenue and market share while meeting/exceeding revenue targets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns and sales enablement programs.
• Provide coaching and guidance to sales teams to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
