Our headquarters team embodies vibrancy and diversity, and we're thrilled to welcome a motivated Client Services Sales Specialist to continue to grow our business and serve our clients Job Overview As a Client Services Sales Specialist, your primary focus will be on attracting and connecting with new potential clients, converting them into loyal customers, and ensuring their seamless onboarding and security strategy. This is a highly proactive, field-based role where you will engage in direct outreach through door-to-door efforts, cold calling, and other client acquisition activities. You will play an essential role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, establishing meaningful relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. In addition to your hands-on client outreach, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, including ownership, client services, operations, and marketing, to align business development strategies and execute on key initiatives. Your efforts will be integral in nurturing client relationships, supporting the Operations team in executing projects, and ensuring a smooth transition for new clients. You will contribute directly to the success of our client services by delivering high-quality service and supporting broader organizational goals. This role reports directly to the National Client Services Manager and is based in our Vancouver, BC office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be driven by the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the growth of the business. We're looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and being a hands-on contributor to the organization's success. • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through outbound outreach and inbound inquiries • Respond to and follow up on inbound leads and client inquiries • Build, manage, and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions • Prepare, present, and distribute quotes, proposals, and sales contracts • Lead and support detailed proposal development • Coordinate and participate in the setup of new client contracts • Present and demonstrate products or services to prospective clients • Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to execute and maintain contracts • Respond to emergency and coverage requests from clients • Measure and monitor contract performance using appropriate tools • Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) • Review, analyze, and prepare data and performance reports for clients • Maintain accurate and detailed records in the CRM system • Collaborate with marketing, product, and local management teams • Assist in developing and improving processes, post orders, and training materials • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitors, and product developments • Collect, analyze, and act on client feedback to improve services • Develop and implement customer retention strategies, including check-ins and surveys • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions • Support strategic business development planning with leadership • Identify and establish partnerships with external organizations • Ensure all activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff or new hires • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in person • Provide accurate information on services and company policies • Resolve customer issues, complaints, and concerns or elevate when required • Maintain a professional, positive, and empathetic approach with clients • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions • Deliver exceptional, friendly, and efficient customer service • Proactively identify client needs and maintain existing relationships • Create, review, and manage client contracts and related documentation • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and the overall customer experience • Perform additional customer service duties as required to support the Client Services Team. What you bring • 2-3 years of progressive experience in a client focused role with a focus on business development. • Proven experience in project management, including the ability to lead projects to successful completion. • Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related field is highly preferred. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Impeccable attention to detail, especially in contract management. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Asana with the ability to quickly learn new software. • A proactive and engaging personality with a natural ability to build and maintain client relationships. • Prior experience within the security industry is an asset. • Strong problem-solving skills with the drive to identify and fulfill client needs. • Access to a personal vehicle for commuting to client sites and meetings (associated expenses will be reimbursed). • Ability to reliably commute to our Vancouver, BC office and client sites across British Columbia. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. • Excellent analytical skills to assess market data and identify trends that can drive business growth. • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Previous experience in sales or business development is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
