The Opportunity: Chief AI Innovation Officer We are on the lookout for a Chief AI Innovation Officer to spearhead our scientific direction and fuel innovation in large-scale AI. In this transformative role, you will oversee model research, distributed infrastructure, and applied machine learning deployment while also contributing significantly to the development of global standards for AI safety and governance. This position empowers you to build a top-tier research organization and create pathways for the successful enterprise adoption of intelligent systems. Key Responsibilities • Foundation Model Research: Lead advancements in transformer-based architectures, LLM pre-training, fine-tuning, multimodal AI, and agent-driven frameworks. • Reinforcement Learning: Enhance RLHF strategies and optimizations to boost robustness, alignment, and system reliability. • Infrastructure Leadership: Design distributed training pipelines and optimize large-scale compute environments utilizing GPUs, TPUs, and emerging accelerators. • AI Safety & Compliance: Develop frameworks focused on interpretability, adversarial robustness, bias detection, and ensure compliance with global regulations. • Scientific Leadership: Publish research in prestigious AI conferences, represent the company in international forums, and position it as a thought leader in the global AI landscape. Candidate Profile • PhD in ML, CS, or applied mathematics, with a distinguished publication record in NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, or similar venues. • Over 12 years of experience in AI research and leadership, successfully scaling foundation models and multimodal systems into production environments. • In-depth expertise in transformer architectures, RLHF, distributed optimization, large-scale data pipelines, and interpretability research. • A recognized leader in AI with a strong international influence across research, enterprise adoption, and regulatory spheres. • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-impact research and engineering teams.
