Field Educator / Brand Ambassador – Hair Extensions

About the Role
We are a growing professional hair extension brand. We are looking for a Field Demonstrator/ Brand Ambassador to introduce our hair extension line to salons, stylists, and educators through in-person demonstrations, and relationship building.
This role is demo-focused, not sales-driven. You’ll be representing both our brand and our distributors, helping build awareness, excitement, and trust as we expand into new markets.
Responsibilities
• Visit salons and beauty professionals across New York State
• Introduce and inform stylists on our hair extension products and techniques
• Support distributor locations with brand demos
• Conduct in-salon demonstrations
• Generate interest for future demos and events
• Generate interest in our products and direct stylists to their local distributor
• Collect feedback, interest forms, and follow-up requests
• Represent the brand professionally and authentically
Schedule & Travel
• 2 days per week (flexible scheduling)
• Travel required within New York State
• Primarily train-based travel (travel expenses covered)
• If car is preferred, can be discussed
Compensation
• $150–$200 per day (based on experience)
• Travel expenses covered or reimbursed
• Independent contractor (1099)
• 60–90 day review with opportunity to grow as the brand expands
Qualifications
• Licensed hairstylist or professional educator preferred
• Experience with hair extensions strongly preferred
• Confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with salon professionals
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
• Must be based in New York State
