We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design, planning, and execution of a large-scale Data Center Exit (DC Exit) and cloud migration initiative. This role will focus on migrating on-premises infrastructure, applications, and enterprise services to AWS while ensuring scalability, performance, security, cost optimization, and alignment with enterprise cloud standards.
The ideal candidate will partner closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, security, and leadership stakeholders to define and deliver the future-state AWS architecture.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise architecture.
• 8+ years of hands-on AWS architecture experience including:
• VPC design, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3
• Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform)
• Monitoring & governance tools (CloudWatch, AWS Config)
• Proven success leading large-scale data center migration/DC Exit programs.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, hybrid connectivity, and automation/CI-CD.
• Experience with AWS migration tools such as:
• CloudEndure
• AWS Migration Hub
• Application Discovery Service
Preferred Qualifications
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (preferred) or Associate.
• Experience with AWS Control Tower and multi-account cloud strategies.
• Strong exposure to modernization approaches (containers, serverless, microservices).
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
