The role of Aviation Security Officer requires strong customer service skills as you will be interacting daily with travelers at airport security checkpoints assessing areas for potential threats screening passengers carry-on items and checked baggage using X-ray machines wands etc.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Screening passengers bags and personal effects
• Customer Service check IDs boarding passes answer questions assist travelers through lines efficiently
• Bag Person Checks perform pat-downs bag searches when alarms go off or need closer look
