You Are
We are seeking a skilled Automation & Manual QA Engineer with strong experience in Selenium based test automation along with solid manual testing expertise.
The Opportunity
Automation Testing Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium Create and enhance automation frameworks using industry best practices Automate functional, regression, and smoke test cases Execute automated test suites and analyze results Maintain automation scripts to ensure stability and reusability Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines (where applicable) Manual Testing Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria Design and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing Perform end to end testing across applications Validate UI, workflows, and data integrity Support UAT cycles and production releases Defect Management & Quality Assurance Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools Participate in defect triage and root cause analysis Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and test execution reports Agile Collaboration Work in an Agile/Scrum environment Participate in sprint planning, daily stand ups, reviews, and retrospectives Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners Communicate test status, risks, and quality metrics effectively

What You Need
Strong experience in Automation Testing using Selenium Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies Knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect management Experience testing web-based applications Understanding of QA processes and SDLC/STLC Experience working in Agile environments Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or similar) Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Good to Have Skills Experience with Java / Python for automation scripting Knowledge of TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber Exposure to API testing Experience with CI/CD tools Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation Experience in healthcare or enterprise applications Technology Stack Summary Automation: Selenium Languages (Preferred): Java / Python Testing Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber Tools: JIRA, CI/CD tools Methodology: Agile / Scrum
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Illinois
Compensation Range: $78,000-$117,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
