In this Associate Director role at WSP, you will lead project management, technical direction, and delivery of multidisciplinary building schemes from inception to handover. You’ll develop innovative, sustainable designs for high-profile UK and international projects across sectors like tall buildings, stadia, and urban regeneration. You’ll shape design strategy, mentor junior colleagues, and cultivate strong client relationships while advancing net-zero and MMC/DfMA concepts. • Provide technical leadership and coordination with Architects, Engineers, and consultants
• Drive tender submissions and contribute to business development and fee management
• Manage project commercial aspects, including fees and cost control

Tasks
• Proven track record in design delivery on major projects and early-stage concept design
• Experience in project management and technical leadership for medium to large schemes
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with stakeholders and clients
• Significant experience in commercial and technical project management
• Team management experience including day-to-day operations
• Lead client contact for consultancy services and relationship-building with clients and co-professionals
• Degree or HNC/HND qualification in a relevant discipline
• Chartered (MIStructE / MICE)
• Solid experience in structural engineering design across materials
• Knowledge of national codes and standards
• Proficiency with ETABS, RAM Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds; Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper advantageous
