An industry-leading client is seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager – Information Security to strengthen and manage our IT security operations. In this role, you will be responsible for designing secure systems, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, managing compliance processes, and adopting innovative technologies like AI to enhance cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical insights to support system design and ensure compliance with industry security standards.
• Identify potential security gaps, recommend improvements, and implement necessary changes.
• Oversee vulnerability management, patching, and IT control processes.
• Monitor and evaluate the latest cybersecurity threats and their potential impact.
• Manage and respond to security incidents, investigations, and compliance matters.
• Maintain and execute cybersecurity awareness programs and conduct phishing tests.
• Leverage AI technologies to enhance IT security operations and management.
• Act as the key point of contact for internal and external parties on information security matters.
• Perform vendor management and oversee the delivery of security-related services.
Requirements:
• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• 6+ years of experience in IT security and risk management.
• Hands-on experience in security risk assessments, compliance evaluations, and penetration testing.
• Expertise in tools such as PAM, email security, WAF, endpoint security, and phishing awareness training.
• Experience with AI adoption in IT security operations is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Willingness to provide non-office hours support when needed.
