We’re seeking a qualified teacher or experienced educator with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England to join our growing team as an Assessment Coordinator-Inclusion.

About the Role:
At Horizon English School Town Square, every first impression matters. We are seeking an Assessment Coordinator (Inclusion) to join our team on a temporary, flexible basis to support the school’s admissions process ahead of its full opening in 2027.
This role plays a key part in welcoming new families, conducting engaging assessments for children aged 3–13 (EYFS to Year 8), and ensuring that every child and parent experiences the warmth, professionalism, and community spirit that define Horizon.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct engaging, play-based assessments for EYFS applicants and paper-based assessments for applicants from Year 1 to Year 8.
• Support the delivery of CAT4 assessments for upper primary and senior school applicants, ensuring a calm and organised testing environment.
• Coordinate assessment timetables, resources, and logistics in collaboration with the Admissions and Academic teams.
• Accurately record and share assessment outcomes and recommendations.
• Liaise with the Inclusion Department regarding any students who may require additional assessment or support.
• Welcome families and ensure each assessment experience reflects the school’s ethos and values.
• Support group assessment days and admissions events as required.
What We’re Looking For:
• A warm, approachable communicator who connects naturally with children and families.
• Organised and detail-oriented, with a professional approach.
• Experience working with children in EYFS or Primary settings.
• Ideally familiar with tools such as CAT4, phonics, or reading assessments.
• Background in Education, Early Years, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
