Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Artificial Intelligence Security Architect to design, implement, and govern security architectures for AI-enabled systems across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. This role focuses on ensuring AI systems are secure, resilient, and compliant while supporting enterprise and industrial operations.
The ideal candidate combines deep cybersecurity expertise with a strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, IT infrastructure, and OT systems, and can architect secure AI solutions from design through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design end-to-end security architectures for AI systems operating in IT and OT environments
• Define security controls for AI models, data pipelines, and AI-driven decision systems
• Address AI-specific threats such as adversarial attacks, data poisoning, model theft, and manipulation
• Integrate AI security with OT systems (SCADA, ICS, PLCs) while ensuring operational safety
• Ensure alignment with enterprise security architecture and zero-trust principles
• Collaborate with IT, OT, data science, engineering, and risk teams
• Conduct threat modeling and architecture risk assessments for AI-enabled systems
• Define secure AI deployment patterns across cloud, edge, and on-prem environments
• Support compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security architecture
• Proven experience securing AI/ML systems and data pipelines
• Strong understanding of:
• AI/ML frameworks and architectures
• IT infrastructure (cloud, networks, identity, endpoints)
• OT environments (ICS, SCADA, industrial networks)
• Experience with cloud and edge computing for AI workloads
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with critical infrastructure or industrial environments
• Knowledge of standards and frameworks such as:
• NIST AI RMF
• IEC 62443
• ISO/IEC 27001
• MITRE ATT&CK for ICS
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GICSP, or cloud security certifications
• Experience securing LLMs, autonomous systems, or AI-driven control systems
