Job Description
We are looking for Buddies to join our team in Montreal on a part-time basis to assist French students arriving abroad. You will be responsible for finding accommodation and accompanying students to the property inspection, helping them settle into Montreal, providing support with local procedures, and offering real-time assistance. You will also play an important role in organizing social activities and communicating key information about local life.
Qualifications
• Communication and interpersonal skills: Fluency in English and French, ability to build relationships, listen to students' needs, and support them with empathy and kindness.
• Organizational skills: Ability to plan and coordinate activities, manage priorities, and follow up on tasks effectively.
• Local knowledge: Good understanding of Montreal, including local services, transportation, housing options, and cultural activities.
• Versatility and adaptability: Ability to react quickly and find solutions in the event of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.
• Other useful qualifications: Fluency in at least one foreign language, previous experience abroad, and a passion for helping others adapt to new environments.
