Position: Sr. AI Solutions Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Pay Rate: $65-75/hr on W2/C2C
Required Qualifications
Al and LLM Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience building Al-powered features, with at least 1 year focused on LLM-based systemsDemonstrated ability to take Al features from prototype to productionStrong understanding of prompt engineering, including context management, few-shot learning, and output parsingExperience with Al orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalentPractical knowledge of LLM limitations, failure modes, and mitigation strategiesExperience building conversational Al or chat-based interfacesUnderstanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns and vector databasesSoftware Engineering
5+ years of professional software engineering experienceStrong Python proficiency, including building backend services, APls, and data processing pipelinesExperience with API design and direct integration with third-party systemsSolid understanding of software testing practices, including testing Al systems with non-deterministic outputsFamiliarity with observability practices: logging, monitoring, and debugging production systemsExperience working in large, complex codebases with multiple contributorsCommunication and Client Skills
Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients or stakeholders in a technical capacityStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesComfortable presenting work, gathering feedback, and iterating based on inputProfessional demeanor suitable for representing a consulting firm to enterprise clientsWorking Style
