The Role Metaschool is looking for an AI Engineer to join its team. As an AI Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing LLM-powered applications using LangChain and other modern AI frameworks. You'll work closely with our research and product teams to build scalable, production-ready AI solutions. Key Responsibilities • LLM Integration: Design and implement custom LLM solutions using frameworks like LangChain, integrating various models (GPT, Claude, etc.) into production systems • Architecture Design: Develop robust architectures for AI applications, considering scalability, latency, and cost optimization • Prompt Engineering: Create and optimize prompting strategies for different use cases, implementing evaluation metrics and testing frameworks • System Development: Build and maintain AI pipelines, including data processing, model deployment, and monitoring systems • Performance Optimization: Optimize LLM usage for cost and performance, implementing caching strategies and response optimization Ideal Candidate Profile • Technical Expertise: Strong background in Python/Javascript and modern AI/ML frameworks • LLM Experience: Hands-on experience building applications with LangChain and large language models • Problem Solving: Ability to break down complex AI challenges into manageable solutions • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams Required Qualifications • 4+ years of software engineering experience • 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs and LangChain • Proficiency in Python/Javascript and related AI/ML libraries • Experience with REST APIs and microservices • Track record of deploying AI solutions in production environments Perks At Metaschool, you'll have exposure to all aspects of building a company.
