Job Description: We are seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist Assistant to join our team at Princess Margaret Cancer Center, Toronto General Hospital, or Toronto Western Hospital. • Assist in patient preparation for CT exams • Provide exam explanations (training provided) • Prepare and clean equipment for patient exams • Coordinate patient exams for optimal utilization and efficiency in collaboration with CT technologists • Insert IVs (training provided) • Document patient information Qualifications: • Completion of secondary school • Completion of an international medical radiation technology program or other medical program (preferred) • Demonstrated sensitivity towards patients in challenging situations • Strong inter-professional and collaborative approach to practice • Good judgment to ensure work is performed in the best interest and safety of patients and teams • Ability to learn new skills and adapt to process changes • Good work performance and attendance history • Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities • Effective computer skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including thorough formal clinical documentation • Ability to work variable shifts Why Join UHN?
