The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design development and implementation of scalable and maintainable SAP solutions to support business requirements. This role involves managing a team of SAP developers ensuring adherence to best practices and collaborating with functional and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions across various SAP modules.
Responsibilities include:
• Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of SAP solutions including analysis design development and implementation.
• Manage and mentor a team of SAP developers across modules such as Retail POS EWM and CAR.
• Translate functional specifications into detailed technical designs and guide development accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices including performance optimization.
• Oversee development activities including coding code reviews testing documentation and deployment.
• Collaborate with functional consultants project managers business analysts and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Manage project timelines allocate resources effectively and mitigate risks in development phases.
• Drive innovation by staying updated with emerging SAP technologies such as ABAP RESTful Programming Model Fiori/UI5 BTP and CDS Views.
• Support integration scenarios using PI/PO BAPI BADI OData services and other middleware tools.
• Provide support for S/4HANA migration and implementation projects.
• Proactively identify and resolve complex technical issues and system bottlenecks.
• Foster a collaborative team culture and promote knowledge sharing.
Requirements include:
• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in SAP development with at least 3 years in a technical lead role.
• Proven experience in leading development teams and delivering SAP solutions.
• Exposure to large-scale SAP implementations and S/4HANA migrations preferred.
