As a Microsoft 365 Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for managing, securing, and optimizing the M365 platform—including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Purview, and Intune—while enabling productivity and safeguarding compliance. What You’ll Do • Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 tenant, including user accounts, licenses, and security settings • Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, mail flow rules, hybrid connectivity, and retention policies • Configure and secure Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive environments • Implement compliance and data governance controls using Microsoft Purview • Enforce conditional access, MFA, and identity protection policies in Entra ID (Azure AD) • Monitor service health, usage, and security alerts via admin center, Defender portal, and PowerShell • Troubleshoot complex issues and develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Graph API) • Collaborate with IT teams on integrations, change management, and end-user training • Manage Windows Server environments for optimal performance and security What You’ll Bring • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred) • Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and related services • Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Purview compliance tools • Expertise in Entra ID (Azure AD), identity management, and conditional access policies • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation • Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks Pay Transparency (Illinois) • Base salary: up to $110,000 • Discretionary bonus • Benefits: Health coverage, PTO, 401(k) with 6% match, 2% profit sharing, Life & Disability insurance, Holidays Equal Opportunity We are committed to equal employment opportunity.
