Role Overview
Join our backend engineering team to build scalable microservices, REST APIs, integrations, and CI/CD pipelines that support core platform capabilities for engineering teams
What You'll Do
• Develop RESTful APIs powering key customer features and internal tools
• Configure monitoring and observability for backend systems
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable service delivery
• Develop reliable integrations-e.g., content management systems
• Collaborate across teams including architects, product, operations, and QA in agile environments
• Conduct code reviews, mentor teammates, and uphold standards around code quality, performance, security, and documentation
Qualifications
• Experience (1-3 years): Backend development experience in Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, Scala, etc.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Technical skills:
• Building scalable RESTful microservices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with containerization & server tech (Docker, NGINX, Node, etc.)
• Database experience (Postgres, Oracle, NoSQL systems)
• Soft skills: Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and love for code reviews and team learning
Compensation
• Estimated base salary:
• Zone A (e.g., SF): $147.5K-$196.6K
• Zone B: $132.7K-$177.0K
• Zone C: $122.4K-$163.2K
• Plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits aligned with our policy
