Our client is Germany's top internet company seeking a Junior PHP Full Stack Developer to become part of their dynamic agile team. They offer a wide range of services across different fields, including fin-tech, insurance, travel and more. Their active client list is reaching over 15 million users.
Location: Berlin, Germany.
Type of contract: Full-time, permanent employment, on-site.
Main responsibilities:
• Development of new features in one of our client's growth products using the latest web technologies.
• Support in the conception and implementation of innovative product features together with our client's product and IT teams.
• Ensuring our client's quality standards by actively participating in daily code reviews and automated tests.
• Expand your knowledge through, among other things, company-wide Tech Talks and Tech Days in order to continue to grow with the company.
Requirements
• Completed IT studies (computer science, media informatics, business informatics, etc.) or training as an IT specialist.
• Knowledge of PHP or another modern programming language.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel, Express, Django.
• First points of contact with a relational database (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL) or a frontend technology such as React or (JavaScript).
• Initiative and motivation to advance the product, the team and personal development.
• German is a must-have, good English skills are a plus.
