Description
We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing backend applications and services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java backend systems.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Implement and manage API services to support front-end applications and other services.
• Ensure security and data protection measures are in place.
Skills and Qualifications
• 8-13 years of experience in Java development with a solid understanding of Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and development.
• Strong experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
