A public firm is looking for Head of Data Science/ Gen AI to join their team.
As a Head of Data Science/ Gen AI, you will lead the strategic development and integration of Generative AI solutions across the organization, overseeing teams and driving innovation in products, processes, and services.
Your new role
• Define and execute the organization’s Generative AI vision and strategy, aligning with business objectives and driving innovation opportunities.
• Lead solution development and implementation, including building scalable AI platforms, managing large projects, and delivering PoCs/MVPs.
• Build and manage high-performing AI teams, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and agile practices.
• Engage stakeholders and partners, communicating AI concepts clearly and developing strategic relationships for co-innovation.
• Ensure governance, ethics, and continuous improvement, setting compliance standards, monitoring performance, and optimizing AI initiatives.
What you need
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; AI/ML certifications are a strong advantage.
• Over 10 years in AI/ML and data science, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles delivering high-impact solutions.
• Deep knowledge of ML, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, generative AI architectures, and cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, large-scale projects, and integrating AI platforms in complex environments.
• Strong ability to align AI initiatives with business goals, manage budgets, vendor relationships, and measure ROI.
• Exceptional communication, team-building, and change management skills, with a track record of driving innovation and mitigating risks.
