As a Data Management Consultant, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and analytics platforms that power decision-making across the organization. You’ll work in a dynamic, agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers. This role is ideal for someone ready to deepen their technical expertise and take on increasing ownership of data engineering initiatives. What You’ll Do: • Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using tools such as Pyspark, SQL, and Azure Data Factory • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions • Contribute to the architecture and implementation of cloud data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Azure) • Apply ETL/ELT best practices, including rollback strategies, bad record handling, and performance tuning • Implement and maintain data governance practices including masking, encryption, and lineage tracking • Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to setting standards and best practices • Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development • Create and maintain documentation for design, implementation, and testing of data solutions • Support integration of diverse data sources including Oracle, APIs, and SFTP • Explore and apply data modeling techniques such as dimensional modeling and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs) • Work with orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory; experience with Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect is considered a plus What You Will Need: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data & analytics engineering. This should include the following: • Advanced proficiency in Pyspark and SQL • Experience with cloud data warehouse architecture and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Azure) • Familiarity with DBT and CI/CD pipelines is an asset • Strong understanding of data governance and security practices • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our Global Enterprise. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking multi-national teams, hich is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement. Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
