As an entrepreneurial and curious venture builder, you will drive early-stage investments and company incubation by collaborating with leadership and startups to identify promising technology ventures. You will develop strategic pitches, shape new business models, and foster relationships within the startup ecosystem to align with Capital One's financial goals.
Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Develop strong relationships with Capital One business and technology leaders.
• Diligence & Steering: Evaluate potential investments and direct startups in directions that would create the most shared value.
• Investing: Identify, vet, and execute venture investment transactions.
• COV Community Building: Engage with the startup ecosystem to build mutually beneficial relationships with promising startups and investors.
Significant experience as an entrepreneur, software engineer and/or investor is required. A passion for working with startups and patience for working with large enterprises is also necessary.
