MDLBEAST is seeking a Lead UX/UI Designer to spearhead the design strategy of our ticketing platform. As the lead you will guide and mentor a team of designers ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across web and mobile applications. You will be instrumental in shaping the visual and interaction design of products that power the regions largest music festivals and events. Tasks Oversee the endtoend UX/UI design process for our products ensuring a high standard of usability accessibility and aesthetics. Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to a team of UX/UI designers fostering their growth and development. Establish and enforce design standards best practices and a design system to maintain consistency across products. Collaborate with product managers engineers and stakeholders to translate business needs into innovative design solutions. Conduct and oversee user research usability testing and datadriven design iterations. Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure seamless design implementation. Advocate for usercentered design principles while balancing business goals and technical constraints. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices to improve the user experience continuously. Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team. Requirements 5 years of experience in UX/UI design with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong portfolio demonstrating usercentered design solutions for complex digital products. Expertise in design tools mainly Figma. Solid understanding of frontend technologies to facilitate collaboration with developers. Experience conducting and leveraging user research and data analytics to improve design decisions. Strong knowledge of interaction design principles usability heuristics and accessibility standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions. Ability to manage multiple projects meet deadlines and work efficiently in a remotefirst environment.
