Your impact
We are hiring a Japanese Speaking Data Center Engineer. This role can be based in any Jacobs offices across South East Asia region.
Main duties include
• Technical reports and specifications including functional descriptions for Mechanical systems.
• To lead and attend project/site meeting with Client, PM, and Consultants from other disciplines.
• Liaise and coordinate relevant technical issues with other disciplines.
• Relationship building with clients generally involves a Doer/Seller role.
• Support site supervision and plant commissioning activities when required
• Support proposals and bids when needed
Here's what you'll need
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Japanese Language Proficiency (minimum N2) given that he/she will need to coordinate with Japanese internal/external stakeholders.
• Relevant experience to perform engineering tasks on the mechanical services detailed design (including calculations, computer simulations, specifications, etc), particularly in Data Center projects
• Ability to work independently and confidently while managing multiple stakeholders
