In this role you will shape digital transformation programs for water utilities, designing scalable cloud and data solutions. You will lead end-to-end architecture across Azure and AWS, guiding data platforms and AI-enabled analytics. You collaborate with clients and Cognizant teams to deliver secure, cost-conscious architectures that drive value. This position offers impact across regulatory, operational, and customer-experience initiatives in the water sector.
Pay / Benefits
• Conduct as-is architecture assessments and define target/transition architectures
• Lead end-to-end cloud solution design for water utilities on Azure and AWS
• Architect data platforms using Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks) and related tools
• Design and oversee AI/ML solutions for predictive analytics and asset management
• Serve as water utilities SME advising on best practices, regulatory compliance, and transformation trends
• Mentor engineering teams and ensure adherence to architecture standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define roadmaps and align with goals

Tasks
• Experience in IT architecture with utilities sector exposure
• Extensive cloud architecture experience on Azure and AWS
• Deep expertise with Azure Data Platform (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse) and Databricks
• Ability to design secure, scalable, cost-efficient cloud architectures
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills
