Job Description
Manage the endtoend Problem Management process within the Application Support function for Java microservicesbased applications deployed on AWS Analyze incident and problem trends in L1L2 support environments to identify root causes and recommend permanent solutions Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including application support development and infrastructure to facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Ensure effective support for Java Spring Boot and Data Dig applications leveraging AWS cloud technologies Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to problem management processes best practices known errors and workarounds Drive continual service improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to problem management procedures Ensure compliance with internal and external standards governing application support and problem management Serve as an escalation point for complex or recurring application issues within the supported technology stack
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and conduct root cause analysis RCA sessions for major and recurring incidents involving Java microservices Spring Boot and Data Dig on AWS Coordinate with L1L2 support development and infrastructure teams to resolve problems efficiently and minimize service disruption Track analyze and report on problem management metrics and KPIs to stakeholders Document and update known errors workarounds and solutions in the knowledge base to support the support team Facilitate regular reviews of problem records and drive timely closure of open issues Provide guidance mentoring and technical support to junior team members on problem management processes and relevant technologies Champion best practices in problem management and actively contribute to process improvement initiatives Ensure support processes are optimized for Java microservices and AWS deployments
