Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Informatica ETL Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform data analysis and identify business rules.
• Develop and support data integration, EDW, and data management using Informatica, SQL, Oracle, etc.
• Collaborate with data modeling teams to define data integration logic.
• Create data mappings to fulfill requirements.
• Build and test new ETL programs to meet service requests.
• Automate ETL processes and pipelines using scripting and schedulers.
• Participate in unit testing, assist QA teams in integration testing, and support business teams for UAT.
• Debug data quality issues and provide guidance to data integration teams.
• Work closely with DBAs to fix performance bottlenecks.
Requirements:
• Recent experience as an ETL lead developer or similar role.
• 10+ years of experience in data integration (ETL) with 8+ years in solution development using Informatica suite.
• 8+ years of experience in RDBMS/data warehousing platforms on Oracle.
• Expertise in Linux shell scripting and automation.
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to write complex queries.
• Conceptual understanding of logical and physical data modeling is essential.
• Ability to develop and maintain data integration/ETL specifications.
• Effective communication skills to work with business and technical staff.
