About the job Senior Linux Platform Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with RHEL administration, patching, hardening, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Shell scripting (Bash) and automation tools (Ansible preferred).
• Knowledge of system services, logs, storage, networking, firewall (firewalld/iptables).
• VMware administration (vCenter, ESXi, HA/DRS, resource management).
• Exposure to OpenShift or Kubernetes cluster operations.
• Understanding of pods, deployments, operators, and container runtimes.
• Familiarity with environments supporting Base24-eps, particularly Linux-based components that integrate with payment switches and EFT systems.
• 5+ years of experience in Linux/VM/cloud infrastructure roles.
• Experience in banking, payments, or financial technology is highly desirable.
• Certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, VMware VCP, CKA/CKAD are added advantages.
