Manager, Web Position type: FULL-TIME Location: Remote/ Hybrid (Preferred location is in the Greater Toronto Area but is negotiable within Canada) This posting reflects a current vacancy Reporting directly to the Director, Fund Development and MARCOM and working closely and collaboratively with team members, the Manager, Web is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive web, mobile and digital strategy that will enhance the Osteoporosis Canada brand online. This role works closely with internal clients and external vendors to execute industry-leading campaigns that engage Canadians living with osteoporosis and encourages support for mission delivery and mission funding initiatives. This person will manage the internal and external web platforms and is responsible for implementing the ongoing development of websites and content, creating digital strategies, setting standards for design and organic search engine optimization, performing navigation and browser compatibility, performing quality-control for third-party, Osteoporosis-branded content, and maintaining small web-based and mobile applications. Osteoporosis Canada does not require Canadian experience for this position. Key Responsibilities • Design and management of OC’s websites, including content development and website enhancements · Experience building WordPress websites • Proofing, posting and organizing content for the organization’s websites • Implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies • Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design and develop responsive webpages • Ensure website adheres to AODA standards • Planning, designing and execution of email mass marketing campaigns • Managing and maintaining the website servers, including SQL web databases, application pools and web instances • Ensuring the security of the website servers and web data • Working with IT personnel on software/hardware issues that affect the web infrastructure • Maintaining the online ordering and ticket system (publications, event tickets, etc) • Developing and overseeing Intranet solutions that support the needs of internal staff • Serving as a digital specialist, bringing a level of experience and knowledge of online marketing and technologies • Working with the Director of Marketing and Communications to develop digital strategies and implement new online functionalities • Good understanding of Google Analytics, SEO and online reporting tools • Effective skills in Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and Dreamweaver • Experience with Engaging Networks Platform – Desirable but not essential • Experience with Zoom, Blubrry Podcasting and automation applications. (Eg. Zapier) • Working within brand standards and around marketing goals to enforce adherence to style standards • Creating and editing online multimedia as needed, including presentations and various formats of audio and video • Maintaining web content management solutions, including CRMs, Wordpress plugins and web software updates. • Maintaining online donation and email platforms • Scheduling and hosting of internal and external webinars • Creating data analytic reports reporting on web, social and digital statistics • Managing of the budget for web services and tools • Working and interacting with other departments to develop and maintain the organization’s online goals • Familiarity with PCI DSS Compliance 4.0 • Familiarity with Stripe Payment Gateway • Familiarity with Mobile Application Stores (Google Playstore / Apple Store) Knowledge and Skills Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science is required • Absolute comfort working in all aspects of electronic communications, including web design, website content creation, e-newsletters, communication skills and appropriate software skills, especially Wordpress, HTML, PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc • Project management skills • Well-developed interpersonal skills, with a customer-service focus • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others to meet team goals • 2-5 years of related work experience • Ability to work independently Your Competencies Include: • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well with peers, donors, volunteers, vendors and funders. • Exceptional project and time management skills with the ability to remain well-organized and able to juggle frequently changing priorities and deadlines • Exceptional attention to detail and committed to a high degree of accuracy • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills • Verbal and written communication in French an asset • Ability to work with a team on a wide variety of web and marketing projects • Ability to work flexible hours; some evening and weekend work is required • Other duties as required SALARY: $60,000 – $65,000 per annum plus benefits. This position will work remotely anywhere in Canada or hybrid out of our National office in Toronto, Ontario.
