Purchasing Agent Queens, NY If you have experience as a Buyer or Purchasing Professional and looking to join a successful and stable organization, we should talk. Our client is an industrial manufacturer and distributor in need of someone to join their purchasing team who has 3+ years of purchasing experience within a manufacturing company. They’re a fast paced, collaborative environment and this role will provide high visibility across the company. You will liaise across many departments of the company to facilitate operations. The company offers a competitive salary plus benefits including health insurance, vacation/paid time off program, 401k with match. This is a full-time position, fully onsite 5 days with a salary of up to $95,000. Responsibilities include: • Purchasing of various materials and finished goods • Stay on top of vendors for delivery times, proper pricing, price breaks, etc. • Maintain strong communication with vendors and the company’s logistics team to create efficient material and finished product flow • Collaborate with other departments across the company Qualifications: • Three years of experience in purchasing a wide range of materials; metal materials background required • Good technical skills also necessary, MS Excel and ERP/MRP experience required • Must be very deadline oriented and organized as missing deadlines can be very costly • Positive attitude, collaborative personality required If you’d like to be considered for this position, please apply online or email your resume direct to erik.hansen@lhh.com .
