Responsibilities
VA Trading & Market Making
• Monitor the liquidity of the virtual assets (“VA”) trading on the order book
• Onboard and manage market makers to ensure sufficient liquidity of the VA trading on the order book
OTC Trading Desk Management
• Source liquidity from OTC liquidity providers to ensure competitive pricing
• Manage trade settlement (fiat/VA) and coordinate with banking partners for smooth transactions
OTC Client Coverage & Business Development
• Leverage existing OTC client network (hedge funds, asset managers, HNWIs, family offices) to grow trading volumes.
• Develop new OTC client relationships in Hong Kong and Asia (e.g., crypto-native funds, traditional finance players entering VA).
• Work with sales & biz dev teams to onboard institutional clients
Risk & Compliance
• Ensure OTC trades comply with Hong Kong VATP regulations (e.g., SFC requirements, AML/KYC checks)
• Monitor counterparty risk and exposure limits
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in VA trading, with a focus on OTC trading.
• Proven OTC client network (e.g., hedge funds, HNWIs, market makers).
• Strong understanding of liquidity sourcing, pricing models, and trade execution in VA OTC markets.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong VA regulations (SFC, VATP compliance).
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Cantonese is an advantage;
