Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Vice President of Engineering, based in Montreal, QC, with flexibility for some remote work. The VP of Engineering will oversee engineering strategy and operations, leading teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative energy storage technologies. Core responsibilities include managing engineering projects, driving product development, fostering team growth, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with leadership to shape technical vision and deliver superior products. QualificationsProven experience in Engineering Management and Team Leadership, with a focus on guiding cross-functional teams effectively.Strong background in Software Development, with knowledge of coding practices and relevant technologies.Demonstrated skills in Project Management, with a history of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.Expertise in Product Development, from initial concept through to final implementation and post-launch optimization.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to support cross-team collaboration and innovation.Familiarity with clean energy technologies, renewable energy, or battery energy storage systems is preferred.Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
