We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with strong expertise in PostgreSQL, and ideally, working knowledge of DB2 LUW. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database solutions that align with performance, scalability, and company standards. They will actively contribute to all phases of system development and ongoing support while monitoring and optimizing database performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of database solutions
• Handle multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
• Perform installations, migrations, patches, and upgrades of database systems
• Implement proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, tracing, backup, recovery, and on-call support
• Identify and mitigate potential issues to enhance database reliability and performance
• Offer technical guidance on system/database integration and new project implementations
