Leading a development team uisng Azure Big data suite of product
A large banking client is seeking an experienced Applications Development Lead for a permanent role to lead big data applications development team
Responsibilities include:
• Lead an application development team Maintain a software development life cycle (SDLC) framework and change processes and procedures
• Involved in design and implementation of modern cloud architectures (Azure) that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable
• Carrying out lead and design role using Azure Data technology stacks
• Adopt a Solution Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and ensure organizational compliance
• Lead and motivate the development team to meet business objectives
• Develop the capability of the team to achieve targets and deliver an exceptional outcomes
Key experience:
• Bachelor Degree with min 15 years of experience in technoogy with min 7 years in leading application development team
• The strong ability to lead and mentor an applications development team comprises of project leaders, systems analysts, developers, etc
• Prior experience working (hands on) with azure data factory, azure data brick, synapse, azure cloud
• Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) operations, tooling
• Technical leadership to mentor software engineers, prioritise projects and manage budgets and timelines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience in various SDLC and processes including Agile and Waterfall
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
