UI/UX developer with angular

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for bringing intuitive, accessible, and responsive UI/UX to our enterprise software platform. You'll review and implement UI/UX designs, ensure WCAG 2 accessibility compliance, and build reusable front-end components using Angular and modern web technologies. This position plays a key part in maintaining design consistency, improving user experience, and supporting scalable product while staying current with the latest front-end trends and best practices.
Key responsibilities:
• UI/UX Technical Review - Provide feedback and insights regarding the technical feasibility of existing UI/UX designs.
• UI/UX Development – Implement existing UI/UX design into both new and existing enterprise applications.
• WCAG 2 Compliance – Provide guidance to the broader team on WCAG compliance while helping identify gaps in existing applications.
• Visual Responsiveness – Ensure that all user facing visual interfaces are designed and created using responsive design principles.
• Peer Review - Participate in review of changes to the user interfaces and provide feedback on both responsiveness and accessibility.
• Platform Based Design – Ensure that front-end components are designed and implemented in a reusable and configurable way, ensuring scalability across our enterprise platform.
• Self-Learning - Keep up to date with the latest software updates and trends to explore and implement new features to enhance the overall Deighton software experience.
• Documentation and Testing – Ensure that all front-end development is documented, and unit tested where required.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 5+ Years of Experience with front-end technologies - HTML, CSS + SASS, Typescript, Angular. (Angular is a must have).
• 3+ Years of experience designing and developing responsive web application front ends.
• 3+ Years of experience with Material design, specifically the Angular Material UI library.
• 3+ Years of experience designing and implementing branding and style guides into enterprise web applications.
