Responsibilities
Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
Writes secure and high‑quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance.
Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.
Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation.
Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity.
Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision‑making in service of secure, stable application development.
Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems.
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Requirements
Java v8+ Spring Boot, 5 years minimum; Prefer over 5 years (Team uses Java v17).
Cloud experience; Prefer AWS (Team uses AWS ECS/Docker and EKS/Kubernetes).
UI experience with React (Team uses React V17); also open to Angular.
Nice to Have Skills
NoSQL (MongoDB) experience.
SQL experience.
Docker/Kubernetes proficiency.
Pluses: SQL & NoSQL both, AWS certification or risk‑domain knowledge.
Additional Technical Details
React/Angular Java Spring Boot > 5 years; all three skill sets required.
70% backend, 30% UI: need at least one of the following—MongoDB, AWS ECS/Docker or EKS/Kubernetes, system design and common patterns. Pluses: SQL and NoSQL both, AWS certification or risk‑domain knowledge.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
