Senior Data Engineer ( IDMC) with Governance Consultant (KSA Experience Required)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer ( IDMC) with strong Governance experience in enterprise data sourcing and data management projects, and have deep expertise in implementing Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) capabilities—especially in Data Governance, Cataloging, and Data Quality—and a solid understanding of local regulatory frameworks such as PDPL,SDAIA,(NDMO, NDI).
The ideal candidate will work on designing, developing of data governance, quality, privacy and optimizing data pipelines that support data integration, transformation across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise Data Governance frameworks tailored to KSA business and regulatory environments.
Identify and prioritize business use cases by engaging with stakeholders across banking, governmental, telecom and enterprise sectors.
Implement data governance policies, controls, and privacy rules in alignment with KSA's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
Utilize Informatica IDMC (CDGC, DQ, EDC, Axon) to manage metadata, data lineage, and data quality processes.
Work closely with data stewards, architects, and business teams to ensure data is discoverable, trusted, and secure.
Troubleshoot and optimize workflows and orchestrations for performance and operational efficiency.
Develop documentation for data assets, data flows, governance processes, and transformation logic
Support change management and training activities to promote a data governance culture.
Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to support data quality initiatives.
Familiarity with hybrid data environments (on-prem + cloud) with familiarity in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Deep understanding of data privacy regulations (PDPL, GDPR, etc.) and their implementation in large organizations.
Additional Expertise (Good to Have):
Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, integration, and MDM workflows using Informatica IDMC and MDM tools.
Develop and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines that ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity.
Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and data modeling concepts. Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or ETL development using Informatica.
Strong working knowledge of Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), particularly- 1. Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC)

• Data pipeline orchestration Preferred Skills & Experience: Exposure to Informatica IDMC, Axon, EDC, PowerCenter.
Experience in banking, governmental, telecom or regulated sectors within Saudi Arabia.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
Strong techno functional skills to work across business and technical teams.
