Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and expansion of our machining capabilities for the Starship components team.
Responsibilities:
• Lead design for manufacturability analyses to optimize designs for seamless manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
• Foster strategic feedback loops with downstream operations to champion product success.
• Oversee the investigation and resolution of quality issues through rigorous root-cause analysis.
• Spearhead capital expenditures and staffing models to sustain peak operational performance.
• Champion cost optimization initiatives across fabrication and manufacturing processes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics
• 5+ years of machining experience
• Experience with taking products from research and development into production
