Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments in Azure and/or AWS.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability through logging, metrics, and alerting systems Implement and manage cloud-native services.
• Support cost optimization, governance, and security policies for cloud usage.
• Perform system updates, patching, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks and company policies.
• Document architecture, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Requirement
• At least two (2) years of experience managing Azure and/or AWS cloud-native services.
• Hands-on experience with public clouds under GCC and/or GCC+.
• Holds relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
• Proficient in configuring networking, storage, and resource routing on AWS (e.g., VPCs, S3, route tables, security groups) and/or Azure (e.g., VNETs, BLOB storage, NSGs) and familiar with DevOps / CI/CD tools and automation pipelines in both platforms.
• Preferably hands-on experience with system and application migration from Government Data Centre (GDC) to GCC and/or GCC+, leveraging both Azure and AWS migration tools and services.
• Able to take lead on the cloud operation in the absence of the Operations Manager.
• Proficient in using security tools such as SIEM, VAPT, Log Analysis, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Experience operating within Government Commercial Cloud (GCC and/or GCC+) environments on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure platforms.
• Holds relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
• Understands Security Operation (SecOps) principles, and is proficient in configuring AWS networking elements (e.g., VPCs, subnets, S3 buckets, and security groups) and/or Azure components (e.g., VNETs, BLOB storage, routing).
• Capable of taking on SecOps responsibilities during development, implementations and operation, supporting secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native security practices.
• Works closely with infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams to embed security-by-design practices and support secure digital transformation initiatives.
