Job Description:
As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products to our customers. You will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements, and tracking quality assurance metrics. Additionally, you will be tasked with measuring the quality of applications and software by evaluating their functionality and performance. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of quality assurance lifecycle practices. Responsibilities
• Design and implement effective testing plans to ensure high-quality software products.
• Thoroughly test software in line with functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with software developers to aid in troubleshooting and finding solutions.
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report results.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using standardized bug tracking tools.
• Review system specifications to ensure they adhere to quality standards.
• Develop and execute test scripts to validate software functionality.
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing and validation processes.
• Monitor debugging process results and update test cases as required.
• Ensure compliance with organization’s quality standards and procedures.
• Stay updated with industry quality trends and latest software testing technologies.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve testing scripts and processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or related position.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with both test management software and automated testing tools.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a significant asset.
