Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Transaction Risk Examiners.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.
Once approved, Transaction Risk Examiners:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to real deal flow and paid risk assessment work
Support investors, fund managers, and operators by reviewing and validating transactions to ensure compliance and minimize risk exposure
Build a verified track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Analyst · Lead Analyst · Analyst / Associate Analyst
Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges
Senior Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background: Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, senior consulting, or risk management professionals with 5+ years of experience
Lead Analyst
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of deal evaluation, risk assessment, or transaction review experience
Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical and technical performance
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Transaction Risk Examiners are engaged based on category-specific approvals, earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
Transaction Risk Assessment & Review
Evaluate investment and financing transactions for financial, operational, and compliance risks
Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or areas of potential exposure in transaction data
Verify assumptions in financial models, valuations, and projections
Prepare risk review reports and flag issues for investors or deal sponsors
Analytical & Compliance Support
Collaborate with analysts and deal teams to improve transaction transparency and integrity
Support due diligence by performing risk scoring and validation checks
Track transaction outcomes to refine risk assessment methodologies
Analysts may only perform work in categories for which they are explicitly approved.
How Analysts Start Earning
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Transaction Risk, Compliance Validation, Financial Verification)
Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live transaction reviews
No cold applications. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors, fund managers, and deal sponsors.
Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Completion of Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility and access to risk review work
Approved work categories
Recommended hourly rates
Scores are updated based on accuracy, thoroughness, and feedback from investors and deal teams.
Compensation & Deal Terms
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful completion of approved work
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All work is limited to transaction risk review, validation, and analytical support and must comply with applicable securities laws.
