Become a Part of the Toolkit Tutors Tutor Network! At Toolkit Tutors, we are establishing a dynamic tutor network to support in-person placements within public schools. Our focus is on high-impact tutoring programs that primarily take place during school hours. We offer flexible staffing options based on each placement's specific needs. We invite applications from tutors experienced in the following areas: • Academic subject tutoring (Math, ELA, Science, Humanities) • Regents exam support • Test preparation • Mentoring and small-group instruction Bilingual tutors are especially encouraged to apply! How Our Network Functions Once you join the Toolkit Tutors network, you won't be confined to a single assignment. Instead: • We will contact you when an opportunity arises that aligns with your skills, subject knowledge, availability, and (if applicable) language proficiency. • As long as you wish to remain engaged, you'll hear about various opportunities that suit your profile. Following your application, our recruitment team will assess your qualifications and reach out for a screening and interview if we see a strong match. Once accepted, you'll be part of the Toolkit Tutors network and will be notified of suitable placements based on your expertise and schedule. We aim to keep you informed about timing, which may fluctuate based on school demands. Requirements • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with excellent academic performance (completed or near completion) • Minimum of one year teaching or tutoring experience in a school setting • Solid understanding of core subject areas • Experience in urban school environments and familiarity with common student challenges • Dependable, punctual, and dedicated to promoting student growth • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students • Willingness to travel to various school locations • DOE fingerprint clearance is strongly preferred Benefits • Hourly pay rate ranging from $32 to $35, paid weekly • Paid sick leave • Paid training and opportunities for professional development • All curriculum materials will be provided • 401(k) plan with 50% employer match (up to 5% of wages)
