Avanciers Incorporated is hiring a Technology Architect – Azure for one of our clients. Job Title: Technology Architect – Azure Job Location: Toronto, ON - Onsite Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12+ Months This is an active job and application deadline is January 30, 2026 (This posting may close earlier if a suitable candidate is found) Job description: • Lead design and implementation of Azure cloud solutions, covering identity, governance, monitoring, security, networking, data storage, and integration using services such as Azure VMs, Databases, Storage Accounts, NSGs, Data Lake, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics. • Architect and integrate enterprise systems across Azure and on-prem/hybrid environments, enabling secure connectivity with partner platforms and mid-tier/mainframe systems using REST/SOAP APIs, J2EE, Spring Boot, Azure API Management, Application Gateway, and App Services. • Provide deep database and data platform expertise, with 15+ years of experience in database design and modeling, PL/SQL development, performance tuning, and administration across industry-standard database technologies. • Enable DevOps and scalable delivery practices, integrating Azure DevOps (repositories, CI/CD pipelines, SCM) to support automated deployments, governance, and reliable cross-platform application lifecycle management.
