Role Description The role involves managing multiple projects, overseeing their execution from inception to delivery, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. The Technical Project Manager will facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, define project requirements, monitor progress, and solve potential risks or challenges. The position requires proactive problem-solving and a strong ability to manage resources and budgets effectively and sound technical knowledge on tools and platforms such as AWS, Java, Spring Boot etc. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage full project lifecycle for retail and e-commerce technology initiatives. • Work collaboratively with product owners, engineering teams, QA, vendors, and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria. • Apply and champion Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to drive project execution and delivery. • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. • Identify and mitigate project risks, manage dependencies, and resolve issues proactively. • Monitor project health using project management tools and ensure alignment with business outcomes. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear updates, timelines, and progress reports. • Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within project teams. Qualifications: • Deep understanding of Agile development practices and experience managing Agile teams. • Technical knowledge and experience with custom apps such as AWS, Java, Spring Boot etc. • Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, MS Project, or similar. • Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written— with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen. • Knowledge of retail technology ecosystems including POS, OMS, eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento) is a plus. • Professional certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, or PMP. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and technology vendors. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and digital commerce solutions. • Robust Analytical Skills for decision-making and risk mitigation • Experience in technology consulting or digital transformation initiatives
